NZWG Library

The NZWG Library contains New Zealand’s most comprehensive collection of books, magazines, scripts and other materials related to script writing. All NZWG members can use the library to gain knowledge on writing scripts and experienced writers will find materials that can assist them improve their craft.

All scripts may be borrowed from the Auckland Head Office and will be posted out to members outside of Auckland, if requested.

The Timpson Collection is a collection of  classic and modern feature movie and television scripts that have been generously donated to the NZWG by Ant and Matt Timpson.​

General Lending Conditions

  • LOAN PERIOD: Items are loaned out for a maximum of 4 weeks. Please return before or on the due date.
  • EXTENSIONS: Upon request library items can be loaned for a further period of 2 weeks, provided another Member has not requested the item.
  • MAXIMUM: Up to 4 items may be borrowed at any time.
  • REFERENCE ONLY: Must be used on site and may not be borrowed.
  • MAIL LIBRARY: Upon request items will be mailed out to Members unable to visit the library in person - only for Auckland library.
